To rig the lure, thread the eye of the treble hook or hook onto the clip, then insert the clip into the weight so that its ends protrude on both sides.
Then, fasten the clip to the eye formed on the other side. Thanks to this rigging, unlike a classic jig head, the hook passing through the lure is not rigidly mounted in the weight, which allows it to move freely - so it can work exceptionally irregularly and naturally.
Ideal for rigging soft plastics and jigs with both treble hooks and hooks (e.g., offset hooks). For rigging soft plastics, we particularly recommend the Cheburashka in combination with Mikado Sensual double treble hooks, which have a long, split shank, making it easier to rig the soft plastic than with other models.
