Hundreds of hours of testing, analysis, and metamorphoses of this model have resulted in our faithful imitation of a larva, its appropriate geometry, and the use of a unique mixture making it an almost ideal lure, which makes it effective in both flowing and standing waters.
The larva will certainly be a competitive "killer" also in Trout Area competitions when fishing for rainbow trout and other salmonid fish. The insect pupa is the basic food for many species of fish. The unique properties of the material make even the most cautious trout unable to resist the fatty, soft pupa.
It works very well in rivers, ponds, or lakes, provoking everything that moves underwater to attack. Lightly armed, it looks very natural and we can easily outsmart both cautious trout and shy chubs with it. The larva should be cast over the potential fish habitat and allowed to drift freely. The fewer line corrections during the drift, the better. When arming, pay attention not to overload it. We lead it along the bottom so that it floats minimally above it. On a taut line, we move it just above the bottom and from time to time try to liven it up by gently twitching the rod tip.
