The foam used for its padding offers about 30% greater density than other mats. There is no risk of injuring the fish, even on a rocky surface. It stands out for the quality of its workmanship and the material used. DOUMAT also means that this unhooking mat can be used as a standard mat without raised edges, or we can simply raise these edges and attach them with the Velcro fasteners located in each corner. This creates a safer mat with raised edges. This can prevent the fish from getting out and possibly injuring itself.

The mat is also equipped with two metal pins and sewn-in eyelets, which are used to attach it to the ground in windy weather. A small pocket is designed for these pins, so they are always at hand.
