The feeder basket mounting mechanism is secured by a swivel with a large metal eye, which is cast directly into the plastic. This eliminates the risk of breaking or tearing off a heavier feeder basket during casting. The Fastlock snap, used for attaching the feeder basket, has a sufficient arch to attach any hanging feeder basket.
