All sections are equipped with solid SIC guides, both the ceramic and the guide construction are black to perfectly match the rest of the rod. A reliable reel seat will easily hold even large capacity reels in place. The handle itself is split, with very pleasant to the touch EVA foam at the beginning and end of the handle, which fits perfectly in the hand.
